Yeah I submitted that site before I poked around and looked at his political and religious views.

I try to respect everyone's opinion regarding those matters, but it's really hard when there are people who deal in absolutes and can't respect other peoples' opinions.

Unfortunately, mixing politics and religion is a poor choice. I don't think God chooses sides between republicans and democrats, or whatever parties happen to be common in your country or time that you exist.

Sadly mixing politics and religion is highly effective because it turns voting for a particular side into a "religious war" in which very little thought is applied as to if the candidate is actually reflective of your values. (See Trump, Republicans, and evangelicals)
