These structures only defer taxes. They will eventually be paid somewhere. Surprised there was no mention of the recent large Apple dividend, which will require that cash to be repatriated to the USA. What is unfair is that an international shareholder in Apple stock only gets their dividend after US taxes are paid and is then hit again with their local taxes. |
