I upvoted you, in the hopes that your post won't be killed off before you can answer.

Do you not think this is a step in the right direction? If not, what do you feel should be done instead? To be clear I'm looking for actionable ideas, not pie-in-the-sky answers.

There is only one step in the right direction: 100% transperency.

If AI is anything but transparent (meaning it can produce the same results for 100%) -- then, anyone employing Opaque AI cannot be trusted.
