That's a lot of what I've seen the upper class be. Take a lot of bets, you need one to hit VS play it safe... And it even pans out in generations. The scion of the Tang family (as in MIT Tang hall) sent half his kids to business, half to politics, figuring out on average it would turn out ok (it did) |
