That might explain why the low end of the market still seems to overvalue used EVs. I've seen many Nissan Leafs with batteries in terrible shape, maxing out at 30-40 mile range, hold their value. Without much in the way of price reductions for newer models at the low end, the used market doesn't need to compete the same way the high end market does. Edit: this is in the US. Other comments seem to indicate the opposite in the UK. |
