| Just one role? When I'm in unemployed mode I try to knock out a job application every day. Granted I'm pretty lazy, so it's more like 2-3 job applications a week, on a good week. Have a template for your CV and cover letter. Then just tailor it to each job application. Be less selective about what technologies they ask for. If the job wants {Java, Spring boot, postgres, microservices, Jenkins, git} and you only know {Java, MySql} go for it anyway! Sometimes I look back on old job ads that I ended up working for, and they look nothing like what my job was: (blockchain? internet-of-things? What were they thinking!) Don't bother thinking about why you got knocked back. It could have been any number of reasons: * Maybe they saw your exp and figured you wouldn't settle for junior's salary.
* If you did settle for a low salary, maybe they figured they wouldn't be able to keep you long, because you'd quickly move elsewhere for a better salary.
* Maybe you were one of about 10 candidates.
* Maybe you're resume was screened by HR or someone who didn't understand your technical worth based on your writing.
