The imf historically has been able to accurately put their fingers on the scale in order to set Government policy that benefits them ! I feel it is best to consider any of their predictions more of a dog whistle to their subservient politicians.

The IMF are like white sharks that advertise to swim in their waters with the claim that they are vegetarians.

They are loan sharks who will sabotage the lives of citizens through corrupt politicians until they have squeezed the last drop of life out of them, in a never-ending spiral once the country is fully sucked into their waters.

Sociopathy even sounds like a euphemism for what these kinds of supranational organisations do.
