I happened across the movie adaptation on Criterion last night and watched it not knowing a thing about it. I was captivated immediately. Afterwards I found the short story. So seems like nothing more than coincidence in this case that you read it last week. (I was surprised to see the upvotes this morning. I really don't ever have any idea what HN is going to find interesting.) |
