I hope we can start to face the REALITY of this change now instead of these nonsense salves like "more types of jobs will be created" or "UBI will work" because that's not how biological beings given unlimited power actually behave. They crush their biological competition as swiftly as possible. That's what will happen. The folks at OpenAI think they'll be on the winning side and know if they're not, they will be destroyed by a competitor's God Machine and die like the rest of us. Their zealotry is just fancy self-preservation at the cost of all the other humans.
