Real money, like USD or Pounds etc are social in their construct. People trust them. And they don't like, but will trust banks. btc and other coins are 'trustless', yet hostile to use, and the ecosystem is filled with the most shady people on the planet all looking to scam our parents.

No one really trusts bitcoin. And that's on of the big bitcoin problems.

Also, it doesn't live up to any of it's hype. But others have enumerated all of those faults.
