Moral relativism refuses to die. A democratic society has done some bad things, therefore a homicidal theocracy with medieval attitudes towards women and gay people gets to be morally equivalent? How does this argument keep coming back? It’s obvious that line of reasoning leads to just might-makes-right, if we’re all so morally equivalent. |
