Fully automatic ones do exist, but its generally not done to not risk damage to the books. And without ocr of page numbers you always risked missing pages. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvM-tjrS2-U That said, a lot of automation processes in place do destroy the book by cutting the spine and scanning it. |
