Well for one the keybindings have been updated from the IBM PC. Doing that on linux isn't impossible, but it would require an enormous effort across many codebases. I have tried for many years to match the productivity of macos on linux, and I can't. The mac (and I suspect the iphone) is just too predictable and reliable to abandon. |
