I'm a full-stack principal engineer with 7+ years of experience in product companies. I love contributing to the development and release culture of teams, teaching, and empowering teammates with better tooling. I thrive in environments with high uncertainty and autonomy and love finding optimal ways to deliver value.

I have led projects from planning to rollout, architected data-heavy UIs and web apps, and spent crazy hours accelerating page loading and automating regression tests. I specialise in React ecosystem on the front end and Python & Node.js on the back end.

A few highlights:

- Cut a two-person-day manual regression test run down to just 5 minutes of automated end-to-end testing, including comms and payments

- Built a platform fulfilling millions of boiler service and repair jobs in the UK, distributing them across 1K engineers based on their drive time and availability on the date, and receiving several thousand bookings a month

- Accelerated page loading of a few frontends by 5-6 times in the pre-Next.js era by fine-tuning Webpack configuration and writing plugins

Drop me a message - I'd be happy to chat about your product and team and see how I can help.
