The company I work for uses these Cisco Meraki devices in their network, some of which support “Power over ethernet”.

With these devices, you don’t need to worry about a separate power cable for your network devices.

Fwiw, Power over Ethernet or PoE has been a widely used IEEE standard since 2003. This is not specific to Cisco, or Meraki. It's common for VoIP phones, cameras, routers, intercoms, etc.
