A TV will likely have multiple inputs like HDMI, USB, Cable, etc and hence presumably more parts, more complex board and higher power needs. I might be wrong, but that's an assumption. A 'feature' of the Samsung TV that copes with this is that it has a motion sensor and turns off when no one is around. Would love an open hardware version of this. |
