It might work to keep you lean and healthy overall, but if the studies are to be trusted, barbell adds that extra (real) weight training you may need. I don’t plan on doing it myself, because like you, I pretty much just keep my dumbbells and kettlebells, bands for travel or certain exercises, and some cardio mixed into 2 days of training. I will probably won’t live as long as the study, but if that is not healthy enough to feel like I’m feeling now, I have better things to do that go to a gym for barbell and other heavier exercise machinery. |
