I've been to 15+ European countries and never had a single issue paying with a credit card. Credit cards are also widely owned and issued all over Europe. Why would you make this statement? What am I missing? |

Vpay and Maestro cards will disappear in Europe and will be replaced by Mastercard Debit and Visa Debit. This forces merchants to also accept foreign creditcards.
