Monitoring social media for sentiment and automatically replying seem useful for sure, but the examples given of AI bots writing ostensibly personal recommendations under the guise of regular accounts without disclosing that they're paid ads look super shady. Couldn't that be considered false advertising or some other kind of deceptive trade practice? I reckon the current FTC would be quite hostile to that. |
