My main workhorse is my desktop Linux machine (nothing can beat a water cooled desktop machine for raw power), but as work from home is not possible all the time, there is also a need for a laptop in my life. I just got my self a Framework 13" AMD laptop and now believe that, barring any major incidents, I will not need to buy a new computer for a long while. If in the coming years I ever feel a need to upgrade newer faster/better components, then bith machines allow for modular upgrades. |
