I can't help but keep getting distracted by C++ on the chart. While it has a few design missteps, it seems to me to be very much the kind of unicorn the author is talking about. In the day-to-day and for beginners it has good abstractions, but it always reminds you about its power and flexibility under the hood that you tap into for the occasional specialized use case or library creation.
