Sedans have a sloped rear window. In theory, laminar airflow is sufficient to clear any debris from it. SUV/CUV have a nearly vertical rear window. This creates a pocket vortex where dust and water stick to the glass and there is no airflow to blow it off. And the Ioniq 5 is considered a CUV. |
