Movie ticket sales not comparable to Youtube revenue numbers. Studio gets probably 50% of a ticket sales. Movies are getting longer as well and that needs a big cast and crew. Whereas Youtube movies are optimal around the 10 minute mark - so the cost of production will be a lot lower. We're comparing apples and oranges. |
