A bad product manager is worse than no product manager. And it is hard to become a product manager that does not do a bad job. Feature creep, not understanding software development methodologies, not having an intuition around technology, not talking to users, not talking to the team = bad product management. Maximizing the value of what the team is working on = good product management. |
