The debt doesn’t get “forgiven”. It gets shifted to those who had no part in creating it, didn’t sign for it, and didn’t benefit from it.

Unless Biden went and extracted refunds from the teachers and universities and booksellers and landlords and weed dealers who were paid with these loans.

Every citizen benefits from an educated population. Not everything is about the individual. Time to start thinking big and not just about ones self.

But just how much does society benefit? Many of our universities are priced so high that I suspect that they'd be capturing most of the value of publicly funded post secondary education.
