While container configurations and cloud deployment code may look like they're begging for LLM assistance (lots of DSLs and environment-specific commands), the devil is of course in the details. Dev ops should explicitly help with providing reliabity, predictability and correctness - none of these are especially prominent strengths of LLMs as far as I can tell. |

The best use for them in devops currently is as a second pair of eyes looking out for mistakes. They should not be used as the primary author of IaC
