| At least Netflix is upfront. At my “WLB friendly” company, they’re addicted to cost-cutting by off-shoring. Less pay but stability was the draw. As soon as the tech-hiring boom was over they started finding ways to gas-light: - If you’re not delivering/under-delivering, it’s certainly a red-flag. - If you’re “overworking” that’s a red-flag. - If you’re phenomenal and young, they’ll keep you and look the other way. - If you’re off-shore, they’ll also look the other way. - And raise concerns, and I get red flagged (honestly, I don’t have the right skillset here).
