One thing I’m not seeing discussed in the battle of client apps, is that Apple is still paying to run the backend servers. Considering the ubiquity of iMessage, this ain’t cheap. When Beeper charges customers subscriptions for the client app, do they kick back any money to Apple who provides server side support for iMessage? |
