Hugo's speed is largely from Go. My problem with Hugo is how the templating becomes very confusing and the flow convoluted. The projects required places for various things becomes a maze, especially if you are not familiar with the site and theme you are working on. I definitely prefer JSX to Hugo, but this project might be a nice middle ground. |
