It's a common tactic used to diminish the value of a person's argument to equate it to their feelings or opinions, rather than accept the argument as strong. Further, he's asking a question that's easily answered by actually reading what I've written. So when you look at a comment that clearly a) is intended to diminish your position and b) seems to completely ignore what you've actually written, it's not "perceived hostility" it's simply bad faith engagement. |
