While yes, grinding is good in moderation in their 20s, it also ends up creating harmful "grinding" habits later on in life, especially at corporate jobs where your future and promotions aren't based off of the "actual" grind. That said, it doesn't mean they shouldn't be "grinding" in other aspects of their lives such as learning and honing their skills to grind that 2-year promotion by jumping around companies. I'm an avid believer of only putting 50% in my day to day, and to only put in 100% when SHTF and have consistently proved my worth. |
