Stanford is very into diversity these days. Try emphasizing how not taking AP classes allowed you the time and energy to do what the other candidates did not do, and that this makes you unique. Point out that your differences means you are especially well suited to enrich the pool of ideas and experiences at Stanford that makes Stanford itself unique. Just don't over do it. Stanford will not be impressed if you do. Strive for a balance. |
