>Purely speculative/anecdotal, but: Atari 2600 games are just not that fun. I had a 2600 brand new and the games weren't fun. I feel like I have gone insane or entered a parallel universe whenever someone fondly remembers that era of video games. I was there. Everyone was like "wow this is so cool" before coming to their senses and going "wow, this is shit". That's what caused the video game crash: the novelty of moving a square around on your TV wore off and people stopped buying all of the boring, samey, shit games. |
