For me, this was about one part interesting because of the person and the time in which they said it (15 years ago for the date when the anecdote took place) and two parts interesting because of the values themselves. Being rigorous about sticking to your values is so important in the context of curating a team of top performers and values and culture are as important when we downsize as they are when we grow. A huge part of how a company waxes and wanes is down to the people on your team, how they think, and how they behave. |
