Dvorak and/or Dvorak for programmers is everything what you need if talking about keyboard layouts. Better to do it from childhood for not even exposing your muscle memory to the qwerty. If you do it not from your childhood then you are going to consider such shitty layouts as Colemak/Workman as something reasonable because of being a slave of your habits.
