It's good that Mozilla is still there to provide an alternative to the proprietary browsers and is fighting for open Internet standards. But the management direction and the aggressive political stance it took in the last years is not really good for the project. Also big kudos for Rust, been playing around with it and it really is a great improvement over archaic languages like C or C++. |

These two statements are at odds with each other. Mozilla whole purpose is inherently political.
