That's blaming the student for the high price of education. The boomers got it really cheap and it worked out ok for them: https://dailycal.org/2014/12/22/history-uc-tuition-since-186... As pointed out elsewhere, a significant increase in the cost of education (the actual operating budgets) is the increase in the administrative class. That needs to be addressed as part of fixing the issue with high costs. |
