Ask HN: Anyone interested to join our next 8-week goal-based cohort?

Hi everyone, a few months ago I made a reaching-out post[1] and happily found several like-minded people :) 5 of us just recently completed a 6-week "cohort" that was similar in principle to a tech-based mastermind group[2] - we each set a goal and met for 30 minutes once a week to report progress, ask questions, and give feedback. It was great!

We are now recruiting for our next cohort, to start in a week or two. Ideally we're looking for a few people who have ambitious but achievable goals and are able to meet for 30 minutes once a week for 8 weeks. Missing a few meetings is fine, and it's totally free and no-commitment. If you are interested in joining or have questions, please respond here or shoot me an email (address in my profile).

Thanks!

Can confirm it's been very useful. And though we're all engineers, the goals don't necessarily need to be programming related. In the last cohort I finished my book draft, for example. For the next one I'm considering focusing on building a RAG-based application and tackling some lifting goals, but will see.
I like the idea and probably will write you but if this post would appear on the homepage then your group becames too big to be able to communicate.
We’d just stop adding people at that point
Thanks for posting this! I can help answer any questions here.

It’s a great group! We call ourselves L2 Community. Named for Lagrange point 2, a stable orbit around Earth as we hurtle toward our North Stars.
