A couple other observations on the experimental side: They define success as being a sample with >50% of the target material. I guess that's success, but wow you can't test any actual properties (hardness, electrical conductivity, etc.) with samples like that. As the reviewers noted, they're only making oxides (no alloys or intermetallics). |
