Zigbee is reliable and quite open. Just go for the Homeassistant and zigbee2mqtt route. You will be able to interact with almost anything from Homeassistant. I just finished moving all my Hue lights from the official hub to zigbee2mqtt + USB dongle, in preparation for the upcoming enshitification (Hue app will require online account). |
