Solving conciousness feels similarly futile to "solving" the number 42. There are infinite scenarios (what is the square root of 1764? How many mushrooms are in my vegetable box? ...) which yield the sought result. What suggests it wouldn't be the same for conciousness (neurons in a cortex, vectors in a GPU, alien biology we have yet to discover...)? |
