Hear hear. It's really inexcusable — if there's a bug in a shared library, that library should be fixed across the board. That, and the implementation is cartoonishly bad, for example you can't extend a partition while the system is running the way that you could before, because you've got random read-only file systems mounted over root. If the money spent on the salaries of the CADT developers making this were spent on the Debian package maintenance, many problems would vanish. |
