Considering the CEO - Board organization is (very roughly) executive-legislature system (the rest of the C suite are the cabinet), is this really such a terrible analogy to how AI and humanity could evolve together?
I think it's pretty bad, yes. There are certainly worse, though! What's omitted from the CEO-Board analogy is the largest group of "stakeholders": the citizenry.
Regardless of that, though, I also think that an AGI should not be in any position of power at all, let alone some sort of CEO analog.
