Lithium is not a limited resource in the same way that Iron or Coal or Silicon are not limited. There is so much of it that we really cannot run out. Cobalt, Neodynium and the other rare earth metals, though, those are highly valuable; and the processes to manufacture them are usually toxic. So do it for the rare earth elements, but don't do it for Lithium. |
