funny enough, my wife asked me this question and when i answered "almost daily" she was really confused.

she knew i read meditations a lot, but she never really tied it to the roman empire.

I've been enjoying _The Practicing Stoic_ recently. Wade Farnsworth does a great job of tying together lessons and a framework from a bunch of different stoic thinkers.
