I live in a small rural town in the UK (Charlbury, Oxfordshire: population 3000). It’s incredibly walkable, we have a direct train to the nearest city (and on to London), and I have an electric bike for longer trips not served by the rail line. These places do exist - you just have to hunt them out. |
