The amount of electricity used by appliances and lighting is negligible compared to that used by the air conditioner compressor. Even the air conditioning fan is hardly more than a few light bulbs. So while it's good that the report quibbled, they might have gone to the effort to quantify their equivalent at least to an order of magnitude. |
