I don't know that we can detect ICBMs on re-entry at all. Don't existing systems only see them in the boost phase? Your scheme still hides that, I think it might work. The only saving grace here is that if the US government contracted Elon Musk to secretly haul nukes to the moon, there'd be a smarmy tweet about it that same day. |
