Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and the Playstation Vita all make use of the FreeBSD kernel. Playstation 5 seems to be a bit different. I'm a little confused if its running the FreeBSD kernel as the main OS/Kernel or if its being run as a shim for backwards compatibility with the PS4. Its fun to see where BSD has ended up. |
