Ideally, you want your hands to hover while typing, not resting on your wrists. I had surgery done in one hand a year ago. It has restored my ability to do most things (like cycling or using a gamepad), but regular keyboard and mouse use is still a problem. For me, the biggest impact has been switching to a vertical mouse. That, along with a tented split keyboard allows me to work most days without aggravating my CTS. |
